At least 16GB of RAM helps with stability when building large, detailed zoos. An SSD is also recommended for faster loading times. Make sure to install the base Planet Zoo game first before purchasing and adding on the Oceania Pack DLC. Overall the expansion has similar minimum and recommended specs as the base game.
Console players on PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Series X|S platforms can also purchase and run the Oceania Pack, no extra requirements needed. The DLC will be integrated with the core game and provide enhancements like improved visuals and loading on newer consoles.
A mid-range gaming PC built within the last 5 years should be able to comfortably run Planet Zoo along with the Oceania Pack DLC. Just meet the recommended specs for optimal performance. This new expansion provides loads of new animals, scenery and gameplay for zoos focused on Australian and New Zealand wildlife themes.
